£11,000 was donated to Sheffield Children's Hospital on the 1st anniversary of Rosie May's death. This bought a specialist cooling mattress, a height adjustable bed and CD's for the children and parents. The hospital are currently looking into the manufacture of a bed that extends in the width direction, to accommodate a parent lying next to their seriously ill child. We know that is something that meant so much to ourselves in those precious final hours.
In September 05 a further £2,300 was donated to Children's PICU to purchase a second height adjustable cot.

Bottesford Pre-School Playgroup
On the 5th September 2005, the newly refurbished play area was opened. Known as 'Rosie May's Corner' the fund paid for the building of new storage units, table and chairs.
For outside the fund purchased picnic tables and parasols. These have lift-up seats, so that the children can stand and paint and do other outdoor activities.
