Rosie May’s Legacy

Rosie May’s mantra at 10 years of age was ‘girl power’. How very fitting her living legacy is and how very proud she must be.

As we grow from our roots of a family charity into an international children’s charity, we will never forget Rosie May. She is and always will be our complete inspiration.

Last Thursday the Rosie May Foundation team were absolutely delighted to join the wonderful staff at J L Priestley for a fantastic Rosie May Day in support of the foundation’s mission to empower women and support children and communities around the world.

Mary (Charity Founder) and Tina (Fundraising Manager) were touched by the warm welcome they received and loved sharing more about the work that supporters like J L Priestley help make possible.

The enthusiasm in the room, the thoughtful questions, and the genuine interest in the impact of the foundation’s projects meant a great deal to them. Days like this remind the team why community matters and how kindness creates real change.

From pink pong and mini golf to the hula hoop challenge and the brilliant buffet pink nic, the day was filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of heart.

The Rosie May Foundation would like to thank everyone who donated, took part, organised activities, or simply arrived with a smile. The J L Priestley team created a Rosie May Day full of joy and purpose, and the foundation is truly grateful.

If you would like to host their own Rosie May Day please contact Tina on 07470512600 or [email protected].

Your kindness keeps Rosie’s legacy alive and helps the foundation continue this life changing work.
