Rosie May’s Legacy

Rosie May’s mantra at 10 years of age was ‘girl power’. How very fitting her living legacy is and how very proud she must be.

As we grow from our roots of a family charity into an international children’s charity, we will never forget Rosie May. She is and always will be our complete inspiration.

This #worldwednesday we are sharing
a beautiful tribute to Leah and a wonderful legacy of empowerment for women and girls 💕

Today the incredible Reek family and their friends met Leah’s pink tuk tuk which is donated in loving memory to their beautiful daughter Leah Beth Reek💕

Leah’s pink tuk tuk even has leopard print seats - a passion of Leah’s 💕🛺

Leah’s mum Jo said “Thank you so much for letting us visit today ❤️ what a wonderful legacy of love, giving hope to so many .. it was a very humbling experience … 🥰 it will stay with us forever 🐆xxx

Leah’s pink tuk was our very first tuk tuk to be on the road in Sri Lanka in 2016. This incredible legacy has enabled single parent mums to drive Leah’s pink tuk tuk as a taxi earning a robust income to feed their families and has provided thousands of safe journeys for women and girls to work and school 🛺💕

Our founder Mary Storrie said “We are thrilled that Leah’s family have finally been able to visit project Hope in Sri Lanka and see first hand how Leah’s legacy is truly making a difference for many women and girls, they should be very proud”. 💕🛺🙏🏻
